NUFLEX 452 PROFESSIONAL DRYWALL ADHESIVE

NuFlex 452 Drywall Adhesive is the professional choice for installing drywall. NuFlex 452 is specifically formulated for applying drywall to wood, hardboard, gypsum wallboard, cold-rolled steel and aluminum. Its strong initial tack allows the panels to be positioned quickly without slipping.

FEATURES AND TYPICAL USES:
NuFlex 452 Drywall Adhesive fills irregularities and gaps in substrates, provides a strong bond and a more solid back up surface. It is unaffected by moisture and resists aging. It will not become hard or brittle with age.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION :
Working Surfaces: Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from excessive oil, grease, water, dirt or any other material that may deter adhesion.
Clean up: Scrape off dried excess with a putty knife. Remove residue with mineral spirits or commercial solvents. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions when using solvents.Note: Test solvent on an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mark or attack the surface. Limitations: Do not use on polystyrene foam or rigid plastics such as A.B.S. or high-impact polystyrene. UseNuFlex 454 Multi-Purpose Construction Adhesive for bonding polystyrene or rigid plastics.

CAUTIONS:
DANGER: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. VAPOUR HARMFUL. Contains hexane. Keep away from heat, sparks & flame. Use only with positive cross-ventilation. Avoid breathing vapours. Do not swallow. Do not allow eye contact or prolonged skin contact. Uncured product can cause eye or skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated overexposure to solvents in uncured product can cause central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, eye, skin or respiratory system effects. First Aid: If dizziness or other adverse health effects are experienced, move to fresh air; contact a physician if discomfort persists. If eye contact occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes; contact physician immediately. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact a physician immediately. Wash skin contact areas with soap and water; contact a physician if irritation persists. For additional information refer to Material Safety Data Sheet.

CALIFORNIA PROP 65 WARNING: This product contains small amounts of toluene, a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

SPECIFICATIONS: Exceeds the performance requirements of the ASTM C557 specifications.

PACKAGING AND COLOURS:
NuFlex 452 Drywall Adhesive is available in a variety of sizes 311 ml (10.5 U.S. fl oz), 858 ml (29 U.S. fl oz) cardboard caulking cartridges with nozzle which fit manual or air operated caulking guns, (12 cartridges to a case). SHELF-LIFE AND STORAGE: Shelf-life is 12 months from date of shipment from our plant when stored in clean, dry area with temperature between 40°F to 90°F (4°C to 32°C).
