ULTRA SEAL PF - 100 GUN-FOAM

Ultra Seal PF-100 Professional Poly-Foam is a professional quality, moisture-curing polyurethane foam that seals, insulates, sounddeadens and bonds many common building materials together. Ultra Seal PF-100 also fills gaps in new and retrofit construction such as around doors, windows and wall corners which are difficult to Draft Stop and Insulate.

FEATURES AND TYPICAL USES:
Ultra Seal PF-100 is recommended for: Heating / air conditioning, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, drywall, and general construction. Seals out radon, drafts,gases, odours, water, dust, sound, and pests. Ultra Seal PF-100 allows you to have controlled dispensing. Ideal for sealing around wall outlets, sill plates, foundation walls, behind baseboards, windows, and doors. Ultra Seal PF-100 is a low expanding foam which prevents bowing of window and doors. Ultra Seal PF-100 contains no CFC’s and is non-flammable. Ultra Seal PF-100 has an R Factor of 5 for each inch of foam-in place...more than twice that of glass insulation. Ultra Seal PF-100 adheres to most building substrates except teflon, silicone and polyethylene. The Ultra Seal PF-100 container is designed for use by the professional with a NUCO Gun Applicator. Once the gun has been attached to the Ultra Seal PF-100 can, the foam sealant is easily and efficiently dispensed...exactly where you want it to go with no mess to clean up later. The flow can be metered by the easy-to use regulator positioned on the back of the gun. NUCO has a complete line of dispensing guns available in every price range. There are four different guns to from which to choose, from a disposable gun to a high quality, fully rebuildable gun. To keep these dispensing guns in top condition, our Insulating System also includes a Gun Cleaner in an aerosol can which is attached to any of our dispensers as easily as the foam can so that the professionals can clean out their foam guns on-the-job and have them ready to go for their next project. The Cleaner Can is also easily used without a dispensing gun, simply by attaching the supplied nozzle and using the can as you would a normal aerosol spray can. The cleaner is a valuable tool to keep handy when dispensing foam because it will instantly dissolve uncured foam. It is recommended that a can of Foam or Cleaner be left attached to any dispensing gun that is not in use to prevent material from curing up in the gun.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION:
Surfaces should be free of dust, oil, grease, frost, and loose debris which may impair bond. Dampness will not impair bond. For maximum yield the temperature of the Ultra Seal PF-100 container should be 20°C (70°F). Minimum application temperature is 5°C (38°F). Colder temperatures lengthen curing time but will not affect the Ultra Seal PF-100 properties when fully cured. When applying Ultra Seal PF-100 follow the instructions on the container. Fill gaps, cracks and holes with the sealant making allowance for post expansion (fill cavities to 30% of volume). Multiple layers may be necessary in large cavities with successive layers being allowed to expand and cure before the next layer is applied. Curing may be accelerated by spray misting the surrounding surface with water prior to application of the foam. Avoid insertion into small tubular sections comprised of non-porous materials, if concerned about bowing of light-weight frames, provide temporary bracing before application of foam.

CAUTIONS:
Contents under pressure. Do not place in hot water or near radiators, stoves or other sources of heat. Do not puncture or incinerate container or store at temperatures over 49°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not leave container in a closed area such as a motor vehicle, especially in the summer heat.
First Aid: Non-toxic under normal conditions. Treat as a mild irritant to skin. Flush eyes with water and see a physician. Product contains polymeric diisocyanate.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Ultra Seal PF-100 meets ASTM-C-557 and Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Caulking and Sealants applied to inorganic reinforced cement board + Flame spread 15, Smoke Developed 20.

PACKAGING AND COLOURS:
Ultra Seal PF-100 is packaged in 680 g (24 oz) and 908 g (32 oz) aerosol cans - 12 cans per case. These cans are designed to be used with any of NUCO’s dispensing guns. For larger project’s Ultra Seal PF-100 is available in 10 lb and 16 lb tanks with hose applicator. Ultra Seal PF-100 is available in creamy white or black colours.

SHELF-LIFE AND STORAGE:
Ultra Seal PF-100 is an aerosol material and must be kept below 49°C. Notice to purchaser: Ultra Seal PF-100 is guaranteed to conform to product specifications, if used by the expirydate imprinted on each aerosol container (18 months after manufacture).
