TREMstop Electrical Box Insert

TREMstop Electrical Box Insert is a single-step method of firestopping metallic electrical boxes. The intumescent pad adheres to the inside back panel of the electrical box and, when exposed to the high temperatures of a fire, expands to seal off the opening and prevent the spread of flames.

Applied by hand, TREMstop Electrical Box Insert is both easy to install and cost effective. It can be installed either before or after the wallboard or as a retrofit. The low profile width leaves more box space compared to competitive pads.

TREMstop Electrical Box Insert is available in three sizes to fit industry standard electrical boxes up to 4-11/16 in. x 4-11/16 in. x 2-1/8 in.

TREMstop Electrical Box Insert is tested at UL and classified as a Wall Opening Protective Material for use with U400 and V400 series walls.
