TREMstop WS

TREMstop WS is a graphite-based intumescent wrap strip used to treat combustible penetrations. Under heat, TREMstop WS creates a hard char to prevent the spread of flame, smoke, toxic fumes and water through voids created when combustible penetrations burn.

TREMstop WS is a highly flexible laminate that is easy to work with, handle, cut and manipulate. The amount of wrap strips necessary is determined by independent testing based upon the type of penetration and the amount of time for which the building assembly is rated. During a fire, TREMstop WS will expand up to 10 times its normal size.
